Starting in 1988, Virginia Tech Motorsports has been a team that strives for more than perfection - we aim to set the standard.

In 1991, Virginia Tech Motorsports placed first in competition and established itself as a top tier Formula SAE team. Over the years, our team has accumulated eight top 10 finishes and six top 5 finishes.

Today, we are still creating high performance cars and we have added an electric car to our team. We are dedicated to creating excellence in both our cars and the student engineers that make us who we are.
