Projects at Hillmann Consulting demand rigorous problem solving for complex technical issues and carry responsibility for supporting major construction programs and addressing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) concerns for organizations and communities.

    Formula SAE competition requires VT Motorsports students to work within strict rule sets, perform continuous simulation and testing, and respond to unexpected mechanical problems. VT Motorsports prepares students to confront these challenges directly, gaining practical experience and resilience that mirror the demands they will encounter at top-tier engineering firms like Hillmann Consulting.

SUPPORTING STEM EDUCATION

With a two-year design process, countless hours of manufacturing and testing, and significant burdens from production costs, our members endure immense pressure as a top-competing Formula SAE team.

The support from Hillmann Consulting allows our team to prioritize developing and building a winning car. With the majority of our cars manufactured in our workshop, our students have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on skills in multiple engineering disciplines beyond the classroom. However, this experience requires immense resources and support from our sponsors. Hillmann Consulting ensures we can continue this expansive learning opportunity that has provided value to students for over 38 years.
